This project continues to summarize the air quality protection outcome of the local EPB for the year. Besides that, a lecture on street sweeping and a reference guidebook was compiled to promote the professional ability of EPB members.In auditing the performance plans executed by local EPB in 2005, EPA requested some projects to assist some inspecting works. The works in this project were to: analyze the sulfur in fuel oil, inspect open burning in important area, sample and analyze the silt on streets, inspect the improvement of complained plants, question public opinion about application cases, and assist other related affairs. According to the questionnaire result, the EPA received high compliments in service and professionalism from the public. It means local EPB’s convenience meansures and works had been accepted by the people; on the other hand, it also suggested to enforce the quality procedure in stationary sources and the intensity in construction control.It was the first time to carry out ”The communities fresh air plan” , there were some recruited volunteers to assist inspecting the pollution of streets, constructions and open burning. The goal was to combine the power of the populace to promote the air pollution control effect. The result showed that people accept the maintenance works around the street and construction. In “The Auditing Rules for effects of Local EPB's State Implementation Plan in 2006“, the index of optional portioning was revised towards local characteristic and innovation. It is expected to encourage local EPB to map out the works and objectives that match their own characteristics so as to carry out each control work effectively, thereby improving local air quality and generating the satisfaction of people.
